A road rage incident in Indianapolis turned fatal when a driver shot an Indianapolis man at point-blank range, as shown in a video. Shockingly, the shooter has been released by the police.
As captured in the video, a man swiftly approaches the driver’s side of a big white truck brandishing what seems to be a firearm, as he yells at the other driver and repeatedly strikes his car door amidst the commotion that occurred on Tuesday.
Keep your eyes peeled because as he sprints towards the vehicle, the firearm is firmly clutched in his right hand. However, as soon as he approaches the door, he deftly switches it to his left before lifting his arm and directing it towards the target.
The moment the other driver aimed his gun and pulled the trigger, three fatal shots rang out.
Indianapolis Police identified the victim as Gavin Dasaur, who drops to the ground in clear distress from his injuries.
According to TMZ, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a call reporting a shooting after 8 PM on Tuesday. Upon their arrival, officers discovered that Dasaur had sustained injuries and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
According to reports, law enforcement officials detained the individual responsible for the shooting at the location. However, after consulting with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, they released the suspect. Local sources suggest that the authorities concluded that the incident may have been an act of self-defense.
Upon watching the video again, it appears to strengthen the argument for self-defense. The individual inside the truck appears to be unaware of Dasaur switching his weapon to his left hand, leading to the assumption that he believed Dasaur was about to fire when he pointed his hand inside the truck.
Only a few weeks after his marriage to Cinthya ZaMora, Dasaur tragically lost his life in what she believes was a cold-blooded murder. In her heartbreaking statement, Cinthya made it clear that she does not believe her husband deserved to die.
