A drug-related arrest in Noble County has resulted in the imprisonment of an Ohio man. The arrest was made after a traffic stop.
On July 8, the driver of a vehicle, Terry Ivey, was pulled over by deputies from the Noble County Sheriff’s Office for a traffic violation. During the stop, Ivey informed the deputies that he did not possess a valid driver’s license.
During the conversation with Ivey, the deputies noticed that the remaining three individuals in the vehicle were exhibiting signs of excessive nervousness. They refused to keep their hands within sight of the deputies, which further raised suspicions.
The sheriff’s office reported that Eric Pangle was observed attempting to conceal an object in his crotch area when asked to exit the vehicle by the occupants.
According to deputies, he proceeded to toss a meth bubble, which was a glass smoking pipe, onto the floor of the car.
The authorities apprehended Pangle, and upon inspection, they discovered what seemed to be methamphetamine in his possession.
Deputies reported that Ivey received a citation for driving with a suspended license, while Pangle was taken into custody for drug possession and is currently being held at the Noble County Jail.
The Noble County Grand Jury might receive further charges, according to deputies.
