An Ohio man was taken into custody following a substantial drug seizure in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.
Trooper Brian Maupin of the Kentucky State Police responded to a disabled vehicle on the interstate that had run out of gasoline, as confirmed by Trooper Scottie Pennington.
According to troopers, the driver, who had been smoking marijuana, fled the scene following an altercation.
Authorities apprehended the driver, hailing from Ohio, and took him into custody.
During the vehicle search, law enforcement officials discovered more than 11 pounds of methamphetamine and a glass jar containing marijuana.
