Throughout her Iowa Hawkeyes career, Caitlin Clark was a key player alongside Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall. These three talented athletes guided their team to two consecutive NCAA Women’s National Championship appearances before leaving college together.
Clark and Martin participated in the 2024 WNBA Draft, where Clark was chosen as the top pick by the Indiana Fever, while Martin was selected in the second round by the Las Vegas Aces with the No. 18 pick. On the other hand, Marshall chose a different path and decided to retire from basketball to pursue her education and graduate from school.
In an exciting announcement on Tuesday, Marshall shared a new development in her career. She has teamed up with the Joint Chiropractic in Coralville, Iowa, to serve as a brand ambassador. This partnership is a significant step forward for Marshall, and she is thrilled to take on this new role.
Marshall’s update received a simple yet congratulatory comment from Clark.
“This is seriously awesome,” exclaimed Clark.
Marshall graciously replied, “Your kindness knows no bounds, your majesty.”
During her time with Iowa, Marshall was a key player in 137 games. Her average of 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 27.7 minutes per game showcases her talent on the court.
During her time with the Hawkeyes, Clark’s contribution was paramount. She not only became the NCAA leader in career points but also won two National Player of the Year awards. The Iowa community holds both Clark and Marshall in high regard for their impactful roles and contributions.
