This week, a tragic news surfaced about a 34-year-old mother from metro Atlanta who passed away due to an undetected brain tumor.
According to sources close to the family, Amy Luti from Covington was airlifted to the hospital on Tuesday morning due to a brain bleed. Sadly, she was later diagnosed with a glioma tumor and passed away on Thursday.
Carolyn Luti, the mother of Amy, is requesting prayers for her daughter who is currently suffering from a massive brain bleed caused by an unknown tumor. In her initial message, Carolyn expressed her uncertainty about Amy’s chances of survival.
Luti had a 16-year-old son whom she adored as a mother.
“Amy was a remarkable woman who possessed beauty, intelligence, and an unwavering love for her family. According to Luti’s cousin, Courtney Olson, she was also deeply devoted to God, but unfortunately, her time on this earth was cut short.”
A GoFundMe page has been created by the family to seek assistance in covering the expenses for both the funeral and medical bills.
Gliomas, which are tumors originating from the glial cells of the brain, make up approximately 80% of all malignant brain tumors. These tumors can cause a variety of symptoms such as headaches, vomiting, seizures, and cranial nerve disorders.
