WITNESS: Man recounts capturing footage of downtown Fort Wayne mugging arrest

As Micquail Kizer was headed to work on Wednesday morning, downtown Fort Wayne became a scene of chaos.

According to Kizer, he heard sirens and noticed a man running, which made him suspicious. He quickly pulled out his phone and began recording the scene.

In the Civic Center parking garage, a man was assaulted at knifepoint, which was captured on video by Kizer. The police have identified the perpetrator.

According to Kizer, he was hoping that no unfortunate incident would occur during the incident, stating, “I start thinking about the worst-case scenario, hoping that nobody gets hurt or injured in any way. It was definitely a scary moment for me, especially when I saw the individual coming back towards me.”

The man, Antonio Abul Husn, tried to escape but was apprehended by the police. He has been charged with armed robbery and resisting law enforcement, among other preliminary charges.

As Kizer witnessed such an event, it made him realize the importance of his safety. He emphasizes the need to be vigilant and attentive to one’s surroundings as you never know what could happen. The incident could happen to anyone, and it could be devastating for the victim’s family. Hence, it’s crucial to be cautious and aware of your surroundings, even if it may seem scary at times.
