US and Israeli flags burned in protest outside the Israeli Consulate on the East Side

The East Side building of the Israeli Consulate witnessed a disturbing sight as the Israeli Consulate released photos of men burning both an American flag and an Israeli flag.

On Second Avenue, the incident occurred on a Wednesday morning outside the building.

The police have arrested one individual in connection to the incident, but they are still on the lookout for two others. The NYPD has shared images of the two men who are currently being sought.

At the age of 20, Jahki Lodgson-McCray found himself facing multiple charges, including second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree menacing, disorderly conduct, and failure to use a sidewalk.

According to the consulate’s post on X (formerly Twitter), the NYPD has ramped up security in the vicinity due to the recent vandalism.
