Two Texans arrested for human trafficking following 911 call from Columbus hotel

Two Texans were arrested for human trafficking after a woman made a 911 call from a hotel bathroom in Columbus.

A woman in Columbus, Mississippi made a distress call to 911 from the bathroom of a hotel, which ultimately led to the arrest of two individuals from Texas on charges of human trafficking.

On Sunday afternoon, December 15th, a woman made a distress call to 911 from an undisclosed hotel. Responding to the call, a police officer discovered the woman hiding in a bathroom, as revealed by the Columbus Police.

Naphtali Ratshitanga, 29, from Houston, Texas, and Essence Holloway, 24, from Arlington, Texas, were accused by the woman of bringing her to Columbus from Indiana.

According to the police, the woman immediately dialed 911 as soon as the suspects left the hotel premises.

Early Wednesday morning, a patrol officer spotted the vehicle belonging to the suspects, leading to their subsequent arrests.
