Two Texans were arrested for human trafficking after a woman made a 911 call from a bathroom in a hotel in Columbus.
A woman made a distress call to 911 from a bathroom in a Columbus hotel, leading to the arrest of two individuals from Texas on charges of human trafficking.
A woman made a distress call to 911 on the afternoon of December 15th from an unidentified hotel. Columbus Police reported that a police officer responded to the call and discovered the woman hiding in a bathroom.
Naphtali Ratshitanga, 29, from Houston, Texas, and Essence Holloway, 24, from Arlington, Texas, were accused of bringing the woman to Columbus from Indiana.
According to the police, the woman immediately dialed 911 as soon as the suspects temporarily departed from the hotel.
Early Wednesday morning, a patrol officer spotted the vehicle belonging to the suspects, leading to their subsequent arrests.
