Two individuals charged after attempting to purchase marijuana in Oklahoma and sell it in Texas

In Garvin County, two individuals have been charged with attempting to purchase marijuana in Oklahoma and then selling it in Texas.

Court records indicate that Jayson Jamison and Philbert McCoy were pulled over on I-35 by an Oklahoma drug task force last Thursday.

According to reports, the individuals were carrying drug proceeds amounting to $40,000 and were also in possession of a firearm.

The UCDSA violation, possession of drug proceeds, and use of a firearm during a felony were the charges brought against both individuals.

The individuals are currently confined in the Garvin County Jail.
