In December, the authorities apprehended and charged two teenagers who are believed to be involved in a fatal shooting in northeast Houston.
Two 16-year-old male suspects are currently being held in custody at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
The Houston Police Department is currently facing charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On December 18th, a confrontation at a convenience store located at 4700 Lockwood resulted in the tragic death of 45-year-old Faridah Davis in northeast Houston.
Officers from the Houston Police Department (HPD) made a distressing discovery when they found Davis in a motionless state in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
According to detectives, Davis arrived at the location with her husband accompanying her. The authorities state that her husband entered the store, and an employee requested him to depart.
According to authorities, the two male shooters made their escape on foot.
Officials have confirmed that Davis’ husband did not sustain any injuries in the incident. Moreover, the authorities have stated that there were two other family members seated in the back of the vehicle who also remained unharmed.
Davis tragically lost his life at a hospital shortly after.
Detectives released surveillance photos of the two unidentified suspects wanted in this case on December 14. As a result, both suspects were apprehended, with one of them being arrested on December 16 and the other on December 18, according to HPD.
