Trump claims Biden is ‘guilty of providing material support for terrorism’

In a baseless accusation, former President Donald Trump claimed that President Joe Biden is providing material support for terrorism.

Eight Tajik nationals were recently apprehended by law enforcement officials in New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. These individuals had entered the United States through the southern border and had gone through the necessary screening before being allowed entry. However, upon further investigation, potential connections between these men and ISIS, a notorious terrorist group, were discovered.

ICE and the FBI have stated in a release that the individuals who were arrested are currently being detained in ICE custody while they await their removal proceedings. The US is currently in a state of heightened threat environment, as recently described by the FBI and DHS in public and partner bulletins.

The incident has been seized upon by Republicans as evidence that Biden’s border policies may have lethal consequences.

On Friday night, while celebrating his 78th birthday in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump made a bold accusation against the president, claiming that he supports terrorism.

So, in addition to all of his other well-documented offenses, crooked Joe Biden is now also guilty of providing material support for terrorism. Under Biden, there’s been a 3,000% increase in the number of people on the terror watchlist crossing into our country from the southern border – 3,000%. And that comes from the Border Patrol. Our country is going to pay a steep price for many, many years. This is a terrible thing that’s happened.

In accordance with U.S. legislation, the term “material support or resources” encompasses “any service or tangible or intangible property.” The Antiterrorism Act of 1996 stipulates that it is unlawful “to knowingly provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization that has been designated by the Secretary of State.”
