Travis Kelce Conveys a Message Following Explanation of Sole Plausible Cause for Chiefs Departure

Travis Kelce Sends Message After Describing Only Possible Reason for Chiefs Exit

Throughout his career, Travis Kelce has been a loyal member of the Kansas City Chiefs, making him one of the few players to have stayed with a single team for their entire career. As a tight end, Kelce has consistently proven himself to be a valuable asset to the team, and his dedication to the Chiefs has not gone unnoticed. Despite the temptation to explore other opportunities, Kelce has remained committed to the team that gave him his start in the NFL, and his steadfast loyalty is a testament to his character and work ethic.

In 2013, Kelce was picked by the Chiefs in the third round of the NFL Draft. Recently, he signed a two-year contract worth $34.25 million, which ensures his stay with the team until 2025.

During a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce caused a stir by revealing the sole reason he would consider leaving the Chiefs to play for another team. Kelce co-hosts the podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, who retired this year after spending his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Would you be interested in playing for a team in London?” Jason inquired.

Travis didn’t hesitate to respond, stating, “Absolutely… I’m eagerly anticipating the opportunity to play for a team other than the Chiefs. The only situation where I would consider staying would be if I had the chance to play internationally.”

“Let me get this straight, your home team will be playing overseas?” Jason sought clarification, to which Travis nodded in agreement. Following the widespread circulation of the clip featuring Travis’ fervent statement, the 34-year-old later retracted his comments.”

On June 29th, Travis expressed his interest in playing in London on X. He added that despite his desire to experience playing in London, he would never leave the Chiefs.

Travis and Jason Kelce, both NFL players, believe that an international NFL franchise is a possibility, but it will probably not happen until after Travis retires. According to the brothers, London is the leading contender to host such a franchise.

Jason confidently stated that London will be the first city to welcome an NFL team. “I’ll go on record for that,” he added.

According to the speaker, London has the biggest appetite and the most number of fans outside the US. He emphasized that it is a major market for the NFL. He also mentioned that Germany has a significant number of NFL fans, and he assumed that a German team would also join the league, possibly in Munich or Berlin.

“If it ever happens, London is set to be the first to receive it.”
