Texas Police Chief Shooter, One of Texas’ Most Wanted Fugitives, Apprehended

One of the most wanted fugitives in Texas has finally been captured after evading authorities for almost a month.

On Friday, the Fort Worth Police Department successfully apprehended Seth Altman, 33, who was the subject of a Texas BLUE Alert. Altman was accused of shooting a Texas police chief.

According to reports, Altman is said to have shot Memphis Police Chief Rex Plant during his arrest for burglary, when the chief and another officer tried to apprehend him.

The individual is facing several serious charges, including Attempted Capital Murder of a Peace Officer, Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, Burglary of Vehicles, Evading Arrest or Detention, and Criminal Trespass.
