Tennessee Highway Patrol Attacks the Field at Neyland Stadium

The iconic home of Volunteer Football served as the backdrop for the new THP Dodge Charger and Trooper, which were recently photographed for America’s Best-Looking Trooper Cruisers Contest.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) recently participated in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) 11th Annual America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers Contest. To showcase their sleek 2023 THP Dodge Charger, Lieutenant Eric Miller, who serves in the Knoxville District, posed for photos inside Neyland Stadium – the iconic home of the Tennessee Volunteer Football Program. Fans of the university may recognize Miller from his time on the sidelines, where he often escorted Head Coach Josh Heupel. Interestingly, Miller also happens to be a graduate of Oliver Springs High School.

Starting from 10 a.m. EDT on Monday, July 15, 2024, voters can participate in the 11th Annual AAST contest to choose America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruiser. The voting period will run until noon EDT on Monday, July 29, 2024. To support the THP, simply visit bit.ly/votethp and select Tennessee from the list of options on the AAST voting site.

Every year, highway patrols and state police organizations from all over the United States participate in a competition for the prestigious title of America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruiser. The top 13 states with the highest votes will have their cruisers featured in the upcoming 2025 wall calendar, with the most-voted state cruiser gracing the cover. The America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2025 Wall Calendar will be sold on statetroopers.org and the proceeds will be used to support student scholarships through the American Association of State Troopers Foundation.

At the core of the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s values is their commitment to serving, securing, and protecting the people of Tennessee.
