Suspect apprehended after stabbing incident in Dublin

A man was arrested on Saturday after a stabbing incident in Dublin, Ohio, according to reports.

Around 10:20 p.m., Dublin Police officers were called to 6500 Riverside Drive in response to an altercation.

Police officers successfully apprehended the suspect, Eric Chamblee, a 61-year-old resident of Wharton, Texas, without any complications. Following his arrest, he has been formally charged with attempted murder.

The victim was taken to the hospital after the incident and was discharged on Tuesday.

Chamblee has a bond set at $25,085, and his next court date is on Dec. 23.

The police have reassured the public that there is no threat to their safety. They are currently investigating the incident to gather more information.
