Upon the arrival of EMS, they declared the individuals deceased at the location.

At 1 a.m., a shooting was reported near 32nd and Agnes when an individual made a 911 call, according to KCPD Sgt. Phil DiMartino.

According to DiMartino, it seems that one of the occupants from the home on Bellefontaine sought assistance from Agnes. They went to a nearby house and asked for help, prompting the homeowner to call 911.

KCPD reported that apart from the young boy who lost his life, there were two other shooting victims, a woman, and another juvenile boy. Fortunately, they were both quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical assistance and are expected to make a full recovery.

According to FOX4, an eyewitness provided a description of the scene.

Felicia McDaniel recalled the moment vividly, stating, “There were a lot of lights, people, and action that I could hear and see.”

Another shooting incident has occurred in Kansas City, and it involves a minor under the age of 18.

McDaniel expressed her sorrow over the tragic loss of life, particularly the impact it has on children. “It’s heartbreaking to think about anyone losing their life, but when children are affected, it’s even more devastating,” she shared. “My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and everyone involved. No one deserves to experience such a tragedy.”

One of the neighbors interviewed by FOX4 also expressed how heart-wrenching the shooting incident was. The neighbor emphasized the importance of supporting and relying on each other during such difficult times.
