Crime can happen anywhere, including in Texas, but this kind of crime is rare. Honestly, when hearing about multi-million-dollar heists like this, it feels more like the plot of a major movie. But for the seven suspects who were arrested, this is no laughing matter.

Details released by WFAA highlight an investigation by the Grapevine police department that began on May 13th, 2024. Officers reported a warehouse burglary where men cut a hole into a door to access an area containing over $500,000 worth of stolen merchandise, including Ray-Ban glasses and Oculus virtual reality headsets.
When suspects get away with a crime like this, they often try again.
Grapevine Police Were Waiting for the Suspects to Try Again
In August, officers noticed a suspect vehicle near an electronics warehouse. They kept their distance but deployed a drone to confirm a robbery in progress.
However, the suspects had multiple lookouts stationed around the city, tipping them off about police activity. While one suspect was arrested at the scene, six more were eventually taken into custody.
These Suspects Were Linked to Seven Heists
Following an investigation, officers discovered that this group was responsible for a total of seven heists between August 2023 and June 2024.
All seven suspects are facing charges for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, a first-degree felony.
The suspects are:
- Adrian Ellison, 38
- Julius Green, 40
- Willie Hill, 38
- Eric White, 33
- Fayzal Kara, 40
- Ronnie Vaden, 33
- Derrick White, 38
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
