Robbery in Houston Ends with Victim Falling to Death from 6-Story Parking Garage

Authorities have made a second arrest in connection with the tragic incident where a man lost his life during a robbery that culminated in him being pushed off a six-story parking garage in Houston.

On September 26, an incident occurred at an apartment complex located in the 1550 block of Leona Street.

According to court documents, the two suspects from Stafford are facing accusations of causing 23-year-old Sostenes Briones to fall from the sixth level of a parking garage.

Briones’ body was discovered by paramedics in the breezeway connecting the parking garage and an apartment building.

Briones succumbed to injuries caused by a forceful blow to his torso.

Briones, who was born on August 28, 2001, was renowned for his friendly demeanor and his knack for building connections with people.

In his obituary, his family emphasized his willingness to assist others and his distinctive smile.

In a heartfelt message, his mother expressed her deep love for her son, stating, “My son, I cherished you dearly and will always hold you in my memories.” Equally touched, his siblings also shared their sentiments, saying, “Brother, we will miss you greatly. Our love for you is eternal and unwavering.”

Bonilla was arrested by officers from the Central Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team on November 7. His next court appearance is scheduled for January 6, 2025. Meanwhile, Williams is currently awaiting his court appearance on November 18.

Bonilla confessed his participation in the incident, as per the police.
