On Thursday evening, New York State Police troopers apprehended Venable while she was driving a sedan on Interstate 86, over 260 miles away from Fredericksburg. Despite troopers’ attempts to pull her over, she refused to stop.
According to state police, the car ended up crashing after hitting a tire deflation device.
After the accident, Venable sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to a hospital. Subsequently, authorities detained him in the Steuben County jail on Friday. Troopers have stated that they will now proceed with the necessary arrangements for his extradition.
