A brutal and unprovoked knife attack inside a Bronx laundry early Thursday morning left one man dead and another critically injured, with the vicious cutting captured on horrifying surveillance video.
The Post obtained video footage showing the knife-wielding stranger nonchalantly approaching the first victim as he sat in a chair at the all-night 303 Laundromat on East 170th Street at 2:40 a.m. and repeatedly slashing him in the back and torso, leaving pools of blood splashed on the floor.
The killer, who was holding a bundle of garments in one hand throughout the assault, then goes out of sight, only to return seconds later and enter through the front door.
According to sources, the wounded victim, a 47-year-old homeless guy, then stumbles about caked in blood and throws a chair at the front door after his assailant escapes.
The police immediately responded to a 911 call and brought him to Lincoln Hospital. Authorities reported that he was in stable condition at the hospital.
The video does not show the attack on the second victim, who suffered stab wounds to the legs and body.
Police pronounced him dead at Lincoln Hospital and have not yet released his name.
“There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing,” the New York Police Department reported.
