A man wanted out of Oklahoma has been arrested in McCracken County, Kentucky.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 23, deputies were on Interstate 24 enforcing the speed limit in the work zone between the 7 and 4 exits.
According to authorities, a deputy using Lidar technology to assess speed observed a vehicle speeding at 84 mph in a 55 mph zone. Another deputy responded and stopped the vehicle.
According to reports, the operator is Jared Worden, 28. Worden’s driver’s license was located in another state and discovered to have a full extraditable felony warrant out of Oklahoma.
Worden was arrested and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail on pending charges out of Oklahoma.
