Winner! A woman from northeast Ohio has won a large cash prize.
Mary Caudill of Lorain won the ticket’s top prize of $2 million.
She chose the $1 million cash option, bringing home $720,000 after paying 28% in obligatory state and federal taxes.
Caudill told the Ohio Lottery that she hopes to use the earnings to buy a house and a car for her children.
The Exxon on Pearl Avenue in Lorain sold the winning ticket.
The $20 scratch-off game called Maximum Millions still has a number of prizes remaining. As of August 15th, the following prizes are still available.
