Celina Serva, 26, of Akron, OH, has been arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced. The crime has a required minimum prison sentence of ten years, a maximum of life imprisonment, and a $10,000 fine.
Assistant United States Attorney Donna Duncan, who is prosecuting the case, indicated that the investigation began on March 28, 2025. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, and the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force have launched an investigation into drug sales and distribution in Ellicott.
This investigation included drug surveillance and controlled purchasing.
On April 3, 2025, investigators executed a search warrant at an Ellicott residence. During the search, they discovered numerous controlled narcotics, a shotgun, and a giant sum of money. Further examination established Serva as the source of these opioids.
Later that day, April 3rd, authorities apprehended Serva while she reportedly attempted to transport methamphetamine to the apartment. Authorities arrested her with 975 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer made Serva’s first appearance and jailed her pending a detention hearing.
