According to court documents, Rabyah Muballigh, 26, entered a plea of no contest in May. This plea indicates that she did not admit to or dispute the charges against her and is an alternative to pleading guilty or not guilty.
According to court records, Muballigh was found guilty of felony assault and child endangerment.
Muballigh received a 7 to 10.5 year sentence at the Ohio Reformatory for Women and was given credit for the almost six months she had already served in jail.
According to a recent news release, authorities were called to an apartment on January 8th, after receiving reports of a child in distress. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a 3-year-old child lying in a room. Although the child was conscious, they were not alert.
