OKLAHOMA CITY — A woman passed away following a police chase in southwest Oklahoma City on Saturday night.
Police stated that they responded to a disturbance call at a home near Southwest 28th Street and Miller Avenue. Upon arrival, the man involved got into a vehicle and fled the scene, prompting officers to pursue him.
The chase ended when the vehicle collided with another on Southwest 29th Street, causing the second vehicle to roll over and eject the woman driving it. She was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for her injuries.
On Sunday, the woman’s family confirmed to KOCO 5 that she had died from the injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have not yet released her name.
The man, whose identity has also not been disclosed, was taken into custody, according to police.
