No one has yet claimed the Powerball jackpot won in Ohio

The Powerball jackpot worth $139.3 million was won in Ohio almost a month ago, but the winner has yet to claim their prize.

Lottery officials have confirmed that a staggering amount of cash was won by a lucky individual who managed to purchase a single ticket that matched all six numbers in the Powerball drawing held on July 3rd.

Someone struck it lucky after purchasing a ticket at a Walmart store located in Huber Heights.

The Powerball drawing revealed the following winning numbers: 02, 26, 33, 55, 57, with the red Powerball number being 22. Additionally, the Power Play multiplier for these numbers was 2X.

According to lottery officials, there is a deadline of 180 days for the winner to claim their prize. Therefore, there is still ample time for the winner to come forward and collect their winnings.

Upon winning, the lucky ticket holder can opt for either a lump sum payment of $66.5 million or an annuitized prize of $139.3 million. It’s important to note that both options are subject to taxes.

It’s a long shot, but the chances of winning the Powerball jackpot are only 1 in 292,201,338.
