A 19-year-old was robbed at knife and gunpoint by a group of men, and the police are currently searching for them. The incident took place in Upper East Side, Manhattan.
Authorities reported that on July 20 at around 1:15 a.m., a group of eight men accosted a 19-year-old at 14 East 60 St. The men surrounded him, brandished several knives and a gun, and punched him in the face before making off with his cell phone and backpack, according to police officials.
According to reports, the group was spotted heading towards Central Park. Fortunately, the 19-year-old victim only sustained minor injuries, but declined medical assistance. In an effort to apprehend those responsible for the crime, police have shared images of the eight men sought in connection with the robbery.
