Nikki Haley shares that her father passed away on Father’s Day

On Father’s Day, Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, shared the sad news of her father’s passing. Ajit Singh Randhawa has left this world, and his daughter has announced it to the public.

On Sunday, the Republican disclosed that he had shared the news previously attempted to run for president earlier this year.

As Haley shared a heart-wrenching photo of herself embracing her father, she began her post with a touching tribute. “The most intelligent, affectionate, benevolent, and honorable man I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing,” she wrote, remembering the moment she had to bid farewell to him this morning.

Haley expressed her sorrowful heart as she reflected on the passing of her father. She fondly remembered how he instilled in his children the significance of faith, hard work, and grace. Her father was an outstanding husband, celebrating 64 years of love and devotion, a doting grandfather and great-grandfather, and the epitome of fatherhood to his four children. He was a true blessing to their family, and they will all miss him dearly. Haley wished her dad a happy Father’s Day, even though he’s no longer with them.

The cause of death for Haley, a former ambassador to the United Nations, has not been disclosed.

According to a report by ABC News in January, Haley had to momentarily halt her presidential campaign to pay a visit to her father who was battling cancer in the hospital.

Despite positioning herself as a viable alternative to the former President Donald Trump, Haley’s campaign failed to garner the necessary support to see it through.

Back in February, Haley emphasized the need for a fresh, young leader who can dedicate eight years of tireless work to bring solutions for the American people. According to her, this leader should focus on achieving results without any drama or personal vendettas.

In March, Haley halted her presidential campaign, but refrained from endorsing her rival Trump. However, just last month, Haley announced that she will be voting for Trump in November. While acknowledging that the former president is not flawless, she deemed President Joe Biden’s performance as “a catastrophe.”

According to a report by Politico, Haley’s father emigrated from India in 1969, and Haley was born in 1972 in South Carolina.
