The Houston Police Department has announced that the inbound lanes of Highway 290 near the 610 Loop are now open again after a tragic motorcycle accident on Monday morning.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes and involved two vehicles, according to Houston TranStar. It was reported just before 3 a.m. and was cleared before 7:30 a.m.
According to Jennifer Reyna, a traffic expert from KHOU 11, drivers are currently exiting the I-10 corridor. From there, they have the option to take the frontage road to reach Hempstead Road or Old Katy Road.
