A heartbreaking incident has been reported from Texas where a 22-year-old mother, G. Deras, has been charged with murder after her 2-month-old son died. In the scorching heat of August 8, 2023, Deras headed to a mental health clinic for her appointment, accompanied by her two sons. The temperature had risen to a staggering 95 degrees, and the heat index was pushing 100 degrees. As per the reports, Deras decided to take only her 3-year-old son inside the clinic, leaving her 2-month-old son in the car, securely strapped. After almost three hours, when she returned to the vehicle, she was shocked to find her infant son in a critical condition, foaming at the mouth and entirely unresponsive.
Upon realizing that her son was in distress, Deras acted quickly and rushed him to a nearby clinic for medical assistance. The first responders were prompt in their response and immediately transported the newborn to the hospital. However, despite their best efforts, the doctors were unable to save him, as his body temperature had already reached a critical 108 degrees. During her interactions with the police, Deras appeared inconsistent and confused. Initially, she stated that she had taken the boy out of the car, but later admitted that she had not.
