Abbie Stockard, Miss Alabama, emerged as one of the six recipients of the prestigious Go Red for Women Leadership Award at the 2025 Miss America pageant held in Orlando.
Stockard, a resident of Vestavia Hills, was crowned Miss Alabama after winning the Miss Hoover 2024 title. Along with this prestigious achievement, she was also awarded a scholarship of $3,300. Joining her as recipients of this honor were Miss Arkansas, Camille Cathey, Miss Colorado, Alexandra Lotko, Miss Maryland, Bridget O’Brien, Miss New Hampshire, Emiley Spencer, and Miss Wisconsin, Mandi Genord.
Stockard’s talent preliminary is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Central Time on Thursday. For her talent performance, she will showcase a contemporary dance.
The highly anticipated Miss America finals will take place on Sunday at 6 p.m. central time.
