Michigan teenagers caught stealing packages in rented car in Deer Park

Court documents reveal that David Dye, 17, and Iyanna Perry, 18, are facing charges for the theft of phones. The cases are filed in Harris County, with Dye’s case numbered 188595501010 – The State of Texas vs. DYE, DAVID (Court 174), and Perry’s case numbered 188592401010 – The State of Texas vs. PERRY, IYANNA RENEE (Court 174). Both individuals, who reside in Michigan, have each posted a $5,000 bond.

In a recent Facebook post, it was mentioned that Dye and Perry made their way from Chicago and rented vehicles to carry out their alleged plan of stealing packages that contained iPhone 16 models.

The Deer Park Police Department has managed to recover one iPhone, but its rightful owner has not been identified yet. Additionally, the post also mentions that a third person, who was not present during the thefts, has not been apprehended.

The authorities are currently conducting an ongoing investigation, and additional information will be made public as it becomes accessible.
