Miami Valley dispensary among the few selected to grow recreational pot

Ohio is inching closer to the long-awaited legalization of recreational marijuana.

The Miami Valley has given approval for a cannabis growth facility to cultivate recreational cannabis.

Pure Ohio Wellness in Springfield has recently been approved for recreational marijuana growth, making it one of four dispensaries in Ohio with this approval.

“We’re eagerly waiting for the green light to kickstart our sales,” they stated.

Pure Ohio Wellness’ COO, Tracey McMillin, stated that they are now waiting for the certification of operation to be issued by the Division of Cannabis Control.

According to McMillin, the certificate must be issued by September 7th, after which Pure Ohio Wellness can commence with their sales. They are well-prepared to start selling as soon as they receive the certificate.

When sales begin, Ohio customers will have limited options as there are only four approved dispensaries available.

According to McMillin, they are already gearing up for what they anticipate to be a bustling beginning.

According to her, there will be additional personnel to assist with the handling of lengthy queues and self-service kiosks that function as a speedy checkout option.

According to McMillin, Pure Ohio Wellness takes pride in being among the first to receive approval in the state.
