Miami Beach Undercover Officers Focus On Drug Dealers Near Parks, Schools, And Places Of Worship

In Miami Beach, dozens of suspects were apprehended by police officers for drug-related offenses. Detectives suspected that some of the arrested individuals were drug dealers and were caught red-handed.

As part of the two-week “Operation Euphoria” aimed at curbing drug dealing within 1000 feet of parks, schools, and places of worship, Chief Wayne A. Jones stated that a total of 57 individuals were arrested.

Jones praised the experience of the individuals, stating that they have a lot of experience under their belts. “These fellas have been around the block,” Jones remarked.

According to reports, police officers went undercover and apprehended a suspect who was allegedly involved in drug dealing near Washington Avenue’s Temple Emanu-El, a historic synagogue.

Police made several arrests in the vicinity of Altos Del Mar and Lummus Park.

According to Jones, the suspects were caught red-handed as undercover officers made several purchases of drugs from them. It was found that some of these suspects had previous criminal records, as confirmed by the police.
