A man has received a ninety-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting multiple young girls in Okitbbeha County.
Alando Rogers, a thirty-five-year-old man, was found guilty by a jury on Tuesday, February 4th for three counts of sexual assault, as confirmed by District Attorney Scott Colom.
According to a report by WTVA, the incidents occurred in Starkville and have been ongoing since September 2021.
“This sentence sends a clear message: crimes against children will not be tolerated in the Golden Triangle or Noxubee County,” Colom stated. “The courage of these young victims and the dedication of law enforcement and medical professionals were instrumental in securing this conviction.”
