A southeast Iowa man is in custody, accused of attempting to entice multiple underage girls.
Police say from April 2024 through July 2024, 28-year-old Skyler Hartwig of What Cheer, Iowa, reached out to a girl he believed was under 16, sent her explicit photos, and tried to get her to engage in sexual acts with him and another man.
In May, a criminal complaint states he tried to get another underage girl to meet up with him and possibly a third man for sexual acts. He also sent her explicit photos and videos.
Hartwig faces two counts of attempting to entice a minor under 16 and two counts of telephone dissemination of obscene material to a minor.
He is held in the Johnson County Jail on two $10,000 bonds.
