Man from California receives sentencing for drug conspiracy in South Dakota.

A drug distribution conspiracy that stretched from California to South Dakota has resulted in a California man being sentenced to federal prison on Monday.

On March 15th, Terry Morris III pleaded guilty and was subsequently sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Morris III, who is 24 years old, received the sentence for his charges.

Terry Morris III was involved in a crime that originated from a California prison cell where his father, Terry Morris Jr. coordinated with him and others from California and South Dakota. Their aim was to distribute sizable quantities of drugs in the Sioux Falls region.

Morris III distributed around 27 pounds of meth and several fentanyl pills.
