A Binghamton man, Timothy Boulton, aged 32, received a sentence of over five years in New York State prison for drug charges dating back to 2023.
Boulton, residing in Binghamton, was apprehended in November 2023 during a traffic stop by the Binghamton Police Department Community Response Team. They discovered methamphetamine in his possession along with over $5,000 in cash, which he had to forfeit.
On Monday, June 3, Broome County Court sentenced Boulton as a repeat felony offender. He was given a five-and-a-half-year prison term along with three years of post-release supervision for the charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree.
