The Kansas Highway Patrol reported the kidnapping of a six-year-old child, which led to the arrest of two males.
KHP shared the post on Saturday but did not specify where or when it occurred.
According to KHP, a trooper stopped an automobile for a traffic violation. The trooper discovered that a passenger had a warrant for his arrest from another state for kidnapping a six-year-old girl a month earlier.
KHP said that two guys in their 60s were in the automobile. According to KHP, the driver has a criminal record that includes homicide and numerous weapons crimes.
According to KHP, the six-year-old girl was removed from the car and originally provided a false name and birthday, but they were eventually able to obtain her genuine name and learn she had been kidnapped and held by the guys for more than a month.
The KHP reports that they arrested the two males.
