LOVE & Marriage: Huntsville star KeKe Jabbar was discovered dead in her car by her husband, Ameen.
According to a friend, the cause of death for the 42-year-old was carbon monoxide poisoning. She reportedly fell asleep in the garage of her Alabama home.
During a live stream on YouTube, JoAnn Jenkins adamantly stated that KeKe did not die by suicide.
As per the statement given, it is clear that Keke did not overdose or take her own life. Keke had a great love for life and was not ready to leave it behind.
“The thought of leaving her children, husband, and family behind was overwhelming for her.”
According to JoAnn, the reality star would frequently become exhausted and simply fall asleep wherever they were.
According to her, KeKe opted to take a nap when her car ran into some trouble.
JoAnn recounted that her husband went to the garage around seven in the morning.
As he approaches the car, he notices Keke lying inside, assuming she is sleeping. He attempts to rouse her, unlocking the car’s door. However, upon closer inspection, he realizes that she is not breathing.
“He tried his best to bring back his wife, the mother of his children, and his life partner – but unfortunately, he couldn’t succeed.”
The vlogger wrapped up by saying that Keke had passed away due to carbon monoxide poisoning. He emphasized that this was the sole cause of her death, without elaborating further.
Ameen, a security specialist, is the father of KeKe’s three children – two sons named Amraee and Ace, and a daughter named Aubree.
Blogger Marcella Speaks broke the news of KeKe‘s passing during a YouTube livestream on Tuesday.
According to Marcella, the TV personality passed away at home, surrounded by love, in a peaceful manner.
“She embodied the roles of a mother, a sister, and a dear friend, radiating joy, love, and laughter. Her absence will be deeply felt,” she expressed.
“While we process this great loss, we are simply asking for respect and privacy during this difficult time,” stated KeKe’s cousin and fellow cast member of Love & Marriage: Huntsville, LaTisha Moore Scott, on her Instagram account.
“Our family is finding this incredibly difficult,” is a more appropriate way to convey the same sentiment in a more natural tone.
KeKe on Love & Marriage: Huntsville
In 2023, KEKE Jabbar made an appearance on the reality show Love & Marriage: Huntsville, which airs on OWN.
Three African-American power couples take center stage in this unscripted show, showcasing their highly successful lives.
The key players in the show include Melody Rodgers, her former spouse Martell Holt, Maurice and Kimmi Scott, Marsau and LaTisha “Tisha” Scott, and beauty entrepreneur Stormi Steele along with her partner Courtney.
Through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group, the couples are working together to revitalize the city of Huntsville in Alabama.
During the show, KeKe was caught on camera having a dispute with her cousin and fellow cast member, LaTisha Moore Scott.
According to Deadline, a producer on the latest season of the show confronted her with drug accusations.
During the reunion of the show, KeKe had a disagreement with Carlos King regarding drug usage. KeKe confidently stated that she has never consumed any type of hard drug.
“I have never consumed heroin, cocaine, or crack, or any other similar substances,” stated the individual.
In the months prior to her passing, KeKe had maintained a quiet presence on Instagram.
During the Memorial Day weekend, she shared a video of her and her son Ace enjoying a pool party. This was her last post before signing off from social media.
As Ace played in the water with his goggles on, KeKe proudly introduced him as her baby boy. “Say ‘Hey’,” she exclaimed while panning the camera towards him.
In another part of the video, she disclosed her plans to introduce a range of swim wigs specifically designed for Black women.
After designing one of her own outfits, the mother of three decided to take a quick dip in the water. She submerged herself completely before resurfacing to proudly display her wig.
During the livestream, a fan asked her about her well-being, to which she responded graciously.
According to KeKe, she is confident in her abilities and considers herself to be “really good.” However, she also admitted that launching the new venture has been overwhelming and at times, too difficult to handle.
