On Wednesday afternoon, traffic in the northbound lanes of I-69 came to a halt due to a crash that is currently under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD).
According to authorities, the collision occurred around midday on I-69, specifically in the northbound lanes connecting the Goshen and Lima Roads exits.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the northbound lanes were completely obstructed for approximately three hours. However, as of 3 p.m., only the two left lanes on the northbound side are still closed.
At the moment, it is unclear if there were any injuries as FWPD dispatchers were unable to confirm the severity of the situation.
