WZTV reported that the city of Nashville, Tennessee was the location where the event occurred.

Federal charges have been brought against a woman from Georgia for cyberstalking and making threats against a couple in Middle Tennessee. The authorities executed various search warrants, including one at the woman’s home.

On May 15, Gabryele “Gabby” Watson, a 26-year-old resident of Athens, was indicted as announced by United States Attorney Henry C. Leventis.

The authorities charged Watson with cyberstalking twice and transmitting threats to kidnap or harm someone across state borders.

The couple residing in Middle Tennessee has accused Watson of engaging in an adoption scam and cyberstalking them. During her communication with the couple, she also transmitted an interstate threat, which further added to the charges against her.

Should Watson be found guilty, he could potentially face up to five years in federal prison for each count brought against him.
