The Houston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying individuals connected to a shoplifting incident that turned into a robbery. This incident took place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m. at a sports store located on the 2400 block of Southwest Freeway.
In a recent press release, the department reported that four individuals, three males and one female, entered the store and proceeded to gather a considerable quantity of clothing before leaving without making any payment. A vigilant store employee, who observed the incident unfold, decided to tail the suspects. However, one of the suspects reportedly brandished a can of pepper spray and aimed it at the employee before making a hasty escape from the scene.
The individuals involved in the incident are identified as follows: Suspect #1 is a Black male who is dressed in a black shirt, black pants, and red shoes; Suspect #2 is a Black male who is wearing a white baseball shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes; Suspect #3 is a Black male who is sporting an orange pullover, black shorts, and white sandals; and Suspect #4 is a Black female who is clad in a black shirt, orange shorts, and black and white shoes.
