Houston Police Hunt for Suspect Charged in Fatal Gas Station Shooting of 32-Year-Old Man

The authorities are currently conducting an active search for a suspect who has been accused with the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man at a gas station in Houston earlier this month. The Houston Police Department (HPD) has identified Imran Ahmed Davis, 27, as the charged perpetrator in the murder and aggravated assault of Bradric Kuykendall, which occurred on October 1.

A shooting dispatch was received at 12303 Hillcroft Avenue, and HPD officers responded at approximately 9:25 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male with gunshot wounds who was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was declared deceased by paramedics.

Mr. Kuykendall was subsequently identified as the individual who was suspected of being involved in an altercation with Davis at a nearby location. The City of Houston News has reported that Davis followed Kuykendall to the station before firing multiple rounds and fleeing the scene.

In the 337th State District Court, charges were lodged against Davis yesterday. The HPD released a news release that included a 2020 booking photo of Davis, who is currently at large, and provided information regarding the charges. According to the release, “Investigators learned Kuykendall and the suspect were involved in an altercation at a nearby location.”

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Watson and M. Burrow are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Imran Ahmed Davis to contact the division immediately at 713-308-3600 as the search continues. Anonymous reports may also be submitted to Crime Stoppers by calling 713-222-reports.
