Georgia’s ex-commissioner of public safety passes away at the age of 73

Georgia bids farewell to a highly regarded former state official, as reported by Atlanta News First.

Colonel Sid Miles, who had previously held the position of public safety commissioner in the state, passed away today while under hospice care in Brunswick.

In a social media statement, Gov. Kemp praised Miles as a devoted public servant who has consistently worked towards ensuring the safety of the people of Georgia.

At the age of 73, Miles had experienced many years of life.
