A fugitive who allegedly had multiple arrest warrants out for him from Bowie County was apprehended near White Settlement, Texas, thanks to cooperation between patrol police and criminal detectives.
According to a Facebook page post by the White Settlement Police Department, “Sgt. Blaustein saw the suspect in the 100 block of Allencrest and he began to flee on foot.”
Multiple officers, investigators, and even high-level command officials from the police force were involved in the rapidly intensifying chase.
The establishment of a strategic perimeter and the use of an aerial drone strengthened the search.
The White Settlement Police Department claims that the suspect’s escape took him through several backyards until “he was taken into custody and will face additional charges from our team including possession of controlled substance and evading arrest.” Following another sighting of the culprit close to Delmar Street, the arrest was made.
The suspect was first charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, search, or transportation, and tampering and fabricating physical evidence. The suspect is currently being held at the Tarrant County Jail as a result of these incidents. For the operation, no police officers were hurt.
