Yesterday, 11 law enforcement agencies, including the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), came together to carry out a significant public safety operation along a 100-mile stretch of US-19. The coordinated effort involved various agencies such as the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Clearwater Police Department, and Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.
In a remarkable achievement, this operation represents the second fruitful partnership in the ongoing efforts to address hazardous driving behaviors. Building upon the groundwork laid by the initial initiative conducted in August, this collaboration is dedicated to combating issues such as speeding, aggressive driving, and driving under the influence.
