Female Prison Guard Who Confessed To Having Sex With Inmate In Recorded Cell Romp Learns Her Fate

A married female British prison guard, who was caught on camera engaging in sexual activity with an inmate inside his cell, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison on Monday.

Linda De Sousa Abreu, a 30-year-old mother, admitted to engaging in sexual activity with Linton Weirich, a criminal, on multiple occasions at Wandsworth prison in London. One of their encounters was captured in a provocative video that gained widespread attention in June.

During Abreu’s sentencing, Andrew Davy, the governor of Wandsworth, strongly criticized her for quickly tarnishing her position and creating an environment where female guards are now subjected to unwanted advances from inmates. Davy expressed his concerns about Abreu’s actions, stating that they have made other female guards feel like they are “fair game.” The BBC reported on the governor’s remarks.

“You engaged in sexual activity with a prisoner,” Judge Martin Edmunds KC told Abreu, who also runs an OnlyFans account.

“That compromised your role as an officer and was misconduct which undermines discipline within the prison and puts fellow officers at increased risk.”

Abreu, dressed in a gray suit and a white shirt, remained mute during the sentencing session.

Prosecutors alleged Abreu, a mother of one, breached her prison assignment by having sex with Weirich, a felon charged with an $82,000 luxury goods heist in Kensington, between June 26 and 28.

Abreu’s prison-issued body-worn camera captured the acts, and an inmate shared the video on social media, boasting, “This is how we live at Wandsworth, bruv.”

According to the Guardian, Abreu allegedly admitted to having “oral sex” with another inmate on the same day she was caught having sex with Weirich.

“You participated with evident enthusiasm,” the judge noted.

According to a representative from the Prison Service, Abreu’s arrest and conviction should serve as a warning to other prison staffers who may be engaging in illegal activities.

“While the overwhelming majority of Prison Service staff are hardworking and honest, we’re catching more of the small minority who break the rules by bolstering our Counter Corruption Unit and strengthening our vetting processes,” the office said in a statement.

“As today’s sentencing demonstrates, where officers do fall below our high standards we won’t hesitate to take robust action.”

Abreu, a Portuguese passport holder, was apprehended at Heathrow Airport while attempting to board a flight to Madrid. This came after she had engaged in illicit activities and contacted her employers to inform them that she would not be returning to work.

Abreu has mostly stayed quiet during the case, but she did express her disapproval during the summer. She criticized porn stars who were impersonating her on OnlyFans and creating parodies of her videos.
