The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has stated in a press release that their financial assistance aims to cover expenses that were not covered by insurance or any other sources.

FEMA stated that the vehicle damage must have been a result of the disaster, and the vehicle should be unsafe or inoperable to drive. It should be noted that only damages that affect the vehicle’s functionality will be covered, and cosmetic repairs will not be included.
